In 2017, the B6.7 is seeing an average fuel economy improvement of 8.5% for efficiency series ratings (200 – 260 HP) versus our 2013-2016 model year ISB6.7 engines. The performance series ratings (280 – 325 HP) of the B6.7 are also seeing increased fuel economy, with an average improvement of 5% and gains of up to 11% in specific duty cycles and applications. How? By focusing on certain components and combustion events, increasing combustion ratios and enhancing turbo machinery efficiency to deliver high torque within the critical RPM range. The most popular heavy-duty engine in North America, the X15 is capable of powering premium motorhomes of any size with up to 605 hp and 1950 lb-ft of peak torque. The X15 also has best-in-class braking horsepower, for greater vehicle control.

X12

The X12, with up to 500 hp and 1695 lb-ft of peak torque, is the lightest engine in its class. Ideal for larger luxury motorhomes, with the highest power-to-weight ratio so you can easily accelerate on short highway on-ramps, even while towing a car, boat or trailer.

L9

The L9 has provided 30 years of continuous improvement. The XPI fuel system enables quiet, responsive operation while replaceable wet liners, roller followers, bypass oil filtration and targeted-piston cooling result in extended life and higher resale value. The L9 has ratings ranging from 330-450 hp with up to 1250 lb-ft of peak torque.

B6.7

The B6.7 features a High Pressure Common Rail (HPCR) fuel injection system that enables multiple injection events per cycle, for cleaner, quieter and more complete combustion. The proprietary VGT™ Turbocharger delivers strong throttle response and dependability while Cummins fully integrated engine and aftertreatment system ensure near-zero emissions.
